Espresso Expresso
Created for Opportunity International


Project Objectives:
Opportunity International approached 3RD sense to help them promote their large fundraising initiative with Gloria Jeans coffee. Over a weekend in October Gloria Jeans Coffee donated a percentage of the sale of every coffee to Opportunity International. They approached us to help promote the initiative with an online game, designed to maximise its viral capabilities.

 


Outcomes Achieved:

Opportunity International is a not-for-profit organisation providing micro-finance to people in the poorest regions of the world. In providing their clients with a loan as small as $150 they help them grow their small business. This enables their clients to earn an income and afford food, water, shelter and an education for their children. With over 1.3 million clients worldwide and growing, the organisation, which was founded in Australia, provides enormous opportunities for people to transform their lives.

So we came up with Espresso Expresso, a fast coffee managment game in which the player, as the barista, as to fill each coffee order within the alloted time. As the game progresses, more orders come in quicker and quicker.

Quick to pick up, but as hard to master as making a good coffee, the game is a fun, addictive experience that works as a piece of viral content.
