Aussie Home Loans: Man vs BBQ
Aussie Home loans wanted to thank customers for their loyalty and run an online competition around Australia Day. Their agency, 303Lowe, came to us to create the game and website.

In the competitive Australian home loan market, customer loyalty is critical for success. As a reward for their loyalty Aussie customers were sent a unique code that gave them exclusive access to the game we created, Man vs BBQ, and the chance to win some grand prizes. The game also enabled Aussie to verify their customer email database whilst entertaining and engaging with its customers.

Creativity
Based on the popular tower defence format, Man vs BBQ is a fun take of that great Australian tradition - The BBQ. Players have to keep hordes of hungry guests at bay by serving up six different types of foods. Unique character art was created mimicking some famous Australians, and players have to accumulate Aussie dollars to pay for the food they cook. Engagement with the brand was a priority, so Aussie branding is prominent throughout the game and website.
Although the game was created specifically for Aussie customers, once the competition finished, Aussie opened the website for all to play. Aussie now has a fun and rich piece of digital content where players engage with the Aussie brand and can organise appointments with Aussie Home Loan representatives.
