Driving Recruitment for IPS

IPS Group, the UK-based recruiters, were searching for methods to raise their profile amongst potential candidates. Targeting professionals in the legal, accountancy and financial fields, they aimed to increase awareness of the group's areas of expertise and increase their candidate intake.

IPS approached 3RD sense with the objective of achieving these goals in a fun and engaging way. With the target audience firmly in mind 3RD sense developed 'Recruitment Drive'. A twist on the traditional golf range driving game, Recruitment Drive gets players to hit golf balls from the top of multi-storey buildings in London's financial district. Featuring the iconic 'Gherkin' building, players try to make a hole-in-one onto the top of the landmark.

Players are given the chance to win monthly prizes by registering and posting their score. At the same time, they are also encouraged to join IPS' candidate database.

“Game’s are an under-exploited device in our sector and this will play a vital role in getting the attention of potential candidates,” IPS Group Managing Partner, Ed Snell, said today.  “We are able to track the game’s effect very easily and see this is an important new channel in our communications mix.”
