3RD sense have produced a viral game for recruitment company IPS Group to drive candidate registration.
Targeted at professional candidates in the legal, accountancy and financial fields, the game features a golf hole on top of the ‘Gherkin’ building.Players have to pitch balls onto the green against the clock and at the end of the game they are encouraged to post their score and join IPS’s candidate database.
The golf game – called ‘Recruitment Drive’ - is designed to increase awareness of IPS Group’s areas of expertise and, through the use of mini-leagues, to increase their candidate intake.
“It’s a strong and quirky game that we hope will cut through a lot of the dry recruitment messages that people face when looking for a new job,” said Tom Gueterbock, MD of 3RD sense. “Once we have got them to play then there are some harder-edged messages layered into the game to prompt registration.”
“Game’s are an under-exploited device in our sector and this will play a vital role in getting the attention of potential candidates,” IPS Group Managing Partner, Ed Snell, said today. “We are able to track the game’s effect very easily and see this is an important new channel in our communications mix.”
