The New iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR
Today during Apple’s keynote they announced the latest iPhone models.
The iPhone X was the top-selling smartphone that Apple has made so it’s no wonder their new models are inspired by it. The one major take away all of us at 3RD SENSE are excited about is the A12 Bionic chip CPU.
This phone’s processor is so incredibly quick, allowing us to develop more interesting, more dynamic digital products and applications. If there was ever a time to consider an upgrade or an entirely new app, this phone will ship on October 21, 2018.
AR or Alternate Reality refers to using the phone’s camera to impose objects so they might appear like they’re in the real world. See the image to the right for an example of Galaga AR.
Apple is trying to position this new line of phones as the go-to for AR experiences. Apple said the A12 Bionic is key to better powering new AR experiences due to its greater processing speeds and reduced power consumption, which developers can expect to see more of in iOS 12.
As with any new device, the adoption rate of apps and games is huge, immediately after release. Folks want to try out the newest and best apps on their new phone, reinstalling old ones and discovering new functions.

In Australia the 64GB comes in at $1,799, the 256GB and $2,049 and the 512GB at $2,369.
The XR is mostly the same. Smaller resolution screen, smaller size and only one 12-megapixel camera. Similar to the iPhone 5c a few years back is the mass-consumer model and comes in six colour options: white, blue, coral, black, yellow and red.
