The Challenge

Developing a location based game that can work over the whole world is no easy task. Especially as an experience that can be enjoyed by an entire family.

We needed to include real world maps and integrate both the iOS and Android GPS systems into an addictive and enjoyable entertainment experience.

WE DELIVERED

Treasure Map came out in July 2018 on iOS and Android. Users can create a landmark or quest and control virtual locations based in the real world:

• A geo-location based real world experience

• A virtual store for upgrades and power ups

• Faction and Crew systems including social integrations

• Design of multiple mini games integrated into quests

• Users can create their own landmarks and quests in the real world

• Full deployment support including marketing and advertising services

Development and testing required a lot of physical testing. We worked closely with Oasis Network.

THE OUTCOMES

We designed Treasure map in late 2017 and had a functional release developed on to the app store by mid 2018.

Treasure Map is our first location based digital product and it is proving to be a great success.
