The Challenge

The Excel Test series of books has become the go-to resource for students to practice curriculum-based tests.

Pascal Press wanted to take the product online with a platform which allowed students to practice tests and provide parents with reporting, feedback and clear direction about where their children should focus their learning attention.

It’s challenging enough getting kids to practice, so the platform had to be really user friendly and even fun to use.

It would also need to make money, be easy to update and provide rich reporting.

WE DELIVERED

Excel Test Zone is a content-rich testing platform with a built-in subscription system, an admin system and a really user-friendly front end that works across desktop, tablet and mobile.

The platform has hundreds of tests and thousands of questions covering a whole range of topics for students of all ages.

The platform offers a free trial for parents and they can buy access through a subscription which is fully integrated with Stripe.

The admin system gives access to content management, user management, support, transaction management and reporting.

The product is in ongoing development with an iOS and Android app currently in development.

THE OUTCOMES

It is not often that a new digital product performs as well as Excel Test Zone did from launch with thousands of subscribers in year one.

With a whole range of new features and the mobile app launching in early 2021, this product will go from strength to strength.
